Curtins With A Beach Theme

Care amiche e cari amici,
Queridas amigas y queridos amigos:

Hoy para profundizar aún Moreover, I present an excerpt from Cardinal Christoph Shonborn on the mercy of Jesus.

Mercy under Zingarelli Italian dictionary means: "Feeling that leads to understanding, mercy and forgiveness toward those who suffer or wrong." In the same dictionary compassion means "suffering feelings and attitudes of participation in the aches and pains of others."

THE MERCY OF JESUS \u200b\u200b - MERCY DE JESÚS

Let me begin this catechesis on the mercy of Jesus with two phrases he told the apostles: "Be merciful as your Father is merciful." And then we find among the beatitudes: "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." Ma thing means, mercy? ...

I begin this teaching on the mercy of Jesus with two sentences. He says to the apostles: "Be merciful as your Father is merciful." And then between the Beatitudes are: "Blessed are the merciful, because they will find mercy." But what is mercy? ... What Jesus means when he says we must be merciful as the Father?

A mother who allows all his children, is perhaps merciful? There can be no justice without mercy. We need a certain level of severity! Paul says that love endures all, but also requires a lot! In society, the common good, the limit must be respected insider. If one is too merciful, it can also be an injustice to others.

St. Paul says that love endures all things, but requires a lot! In society, the common good has been observed when the boundary of abuse. If one is too merciful, can also be an injustice to others.

"Io sono su, your sei giù! Io sono merciful, sei nella your misery "...

There is danger in mercy, is to humiliate demás.

Behavior, apparently merciful, may also be a blanket covering extremely selfish behavior patterns. An example might be when you look with mercy have always depending on the other, as a mother not to let the children go, while covering everything. This perhaps is not true compassion! ...

Mercy is without doubt the core of the preaching of Jesus. But what is it? "In Jesus - Zacharias says Jesus' mercy has visited us, thank goodness mercy of our God, who will come to visit us from above the rising sun"

Gesù has Dunque Espresso di Dio questa maternal mercy. Maria, nel Magnificat, when è in tour da ed Elisabetta Zaccaria, says: "Di sua Generazione in Generazione the Stender their mercy if you Temon quelli che." Abbiamo due termini per esprimere nell'ebraico mercy: è hjejed and the irahamim. Ambedue the terms designating the mercy of God, but hjejed - says John Paul II in his encyclical on mercy - it is rather the father's fidelity. Irahamim It is rather the maternal aspect of mercy. But how those two things with one another, this fidelity and this deep emotion of mercy? Jesus is certainly the embodiment of God's mercy! This mercy is not addressed in the abstract humanity! He has shown you his mercy! To you, personally! The mercy of God is addressed to everyone: you, me, personally.

the time Por Jesús mother expressed this mercy of God. Mary in the Magnificat, when you visit Zechariah and Elizabeth, says: "From generation to generation His mercy extends to those who fear him." The two terms designate the mercy of God, but hjejed "says John Paul II in his encyclical on mercy, fidelity is more paternal. E irahamim is rather the maternal aspect of mercy. But how to behave these two aspects, such loyalty and deep emotion of mercy? Jesus is indeed the embodiment of God's mercy! This mercy is not addressed in the abstract to mankind! He CDE has mercy on you! ¡A you personally! Mercy de Dios if it directs a person to fall: a ti, a mí, personally.

Then briefly we see some scenes from the Gospels that make us understand this demanding size, personnel, mercy. In Luke (you know that Luke is the evangelist of Mercy):
"Then Jesus came to a town called Naim, and the way he did with his disciples and a large crowd. As he approached the gate, here was brought to a dead, only son of his widowed mother. And many people of the city was with lei. E accostatosi, the rod tocco Mentre i portatori if fermarono. Poi disse: "Giovinetto, dico a te: Alzati!". E il morto if Levo, if sedere and incominciò Stripped to parlare. Egli DIEDE what alla mother. "

now briefly see some scenes from the Gospel, making us understand the scope demanding personal, mercy. In Luke (the evangelist of Mercy) "Jesus went to a city called Nain, accompanied him the disciples and a large crowd. When he was near the gate of the city, found that he held a dead grave, only child of a widowed mother. And many people of the city was with her. Seeing the Lord had compassion and said, "Do not cry!". And he came and touched the bier while the bearers stopped. Then he said, "Kid, I say: Arise! The dead man stood up, sat down and began to speak. He handed it to the mother. "

Sempre di Gesù reazione the stessa: when the Suffering vede, non passa oltre! Non gli è indifferent. È proprio questo il comportamento di Gesù: when the Suffering vede, non sta a keeps ...

In Greek - Greek know that (we do a little Bible study) - in Greek is called splaniscnistei kefaupé, Jesus was moved to the bowels of compassion. Deeply moved by the sadness of the pain of the widowed mother. Always the same reaction of Jesus: cuando ve el sufrimiento, ¡no sigue de largo!

What is this profound emotion we call compassion? So, I ask a question: it is a habit simply human, or supernatural? Is it something universal, all men, or is only the revelation of Jesus? Nietzche, the famous philosopher who said that I quoted is an invention of Christianity. "

The dell'eutanasia richiesta, che è thing? Mercy soffre che per one person so much? Far finish the Suffering, Mercy umana è questo? Oggi, trisomy 21, the EEOC di down syndrome, or mongolism, if può già diagnosticare nel seno materno.

Hoy, los  niños con cromosomas 21, es decir el síndrome Down, be diagnosed in the womb. Now they have fallen by two thirds ... is a tragedy! The other day when I visited a disabled home director told me: "You will not in future more children with Down syndrome, they will be killed, with the abortion in the womb.

È a natural based comportamento. Quando San Francesco lebbroso has been abbracciato il dovuto exceeds an emotional ripugnanza. Il fratello, che stessa has the meat, stessa anima, come me.

What is mercy? The mercy of Jesus to the needy of every kind, is certainly a human basis. Behavior is a natural base. There is an emotional element in the mercy of Jesus, but there is another element that we call volition. When St. Francis embraced the leper had to overcome an emotional revulsion. But San Francisco is the will to follow Christ! What happened? Have seen, not just the disease, which is repugnant, has seen the man who suffers. The brother, who has the same flesh, the same soul, as I am.

dell'uomo che Gesù è Perché has Compassion! Compatire means sentire il dolore dell'altro. Eat a vedere l'altro altro "io." E vedere il prossimo nell'altro. Regola d'oro nella (fa 'agli altri desideri Quello che sia fatto a te) Gesù vedere come ci nell'altro has a deictic other self. "Whatever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them." Yet the mercy of Jesus still exceeds the measure of natural resource base. We therefore know that the mercy that Jesus asks of us is beyond human capabilities. Without substantial help from above, by grace, this mercy - first toward the enemy, difficult people, (ol'avversario political. Transcriber's note) , you can not!

takes compasión ¡Jesús del hombre! Compasión take the means to hear el otro dolor. Ver en el otro, otro "yo". And see the other neighbor. In the golden rule (do unto others what you do not want done to yourself), Jesus showed us how to see in the other, another me. "Whatever ye would that men should do to you, you also do it to them." But the mercy of Jesus goes beyond even this measure of natural base. By this we know that the mercy of Jesus calls us beyond human capacity. Without strong support from above, of Grace, this kindness - especially to the enemy, difficult people, it is not possible.

certamente Today there are many people who, without the Christian faith, living the true compassion. We must not think that we Christians are the only ones to be merciful! Here in Austria, we have 400 thousand people who help as volunteers in society. The Red Cross, firefighters, and so on. Among all this people, many do not go to church, but they help no limits. You give to others generously. For this we must recognize - as did Pope Benedict XVI - even in this opening to the good atheists or those who do not believe ...

Per concludere vi parlo di un’altra scene even more striking contrast, among the mercy of Jesus and the disciples. It is a scene that happens outside of Galilee ... Jesus' disciples, the apostles, they hoped to remain unknown in Tyre and Sidon, but that did not remain secret, and so flock to him, a Canaanite woman. And she cries, do not like us, but as in the Mediterranean ... "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is tormented by a demon. " It is a situation of great suffering. One person, a poor, begging for the mercy of Jesus Then Jesus' behavior is "outrageous" ... He gives her not a word. Then the disciples came to him begging Gesù "Esaudiscila!". Qui sono i discepoli è Gesù misericordiosi and hard ... "Esaudiscila!".

In conclusion I speak of another scene that contrasts even more obviously, among the mercy of Jesus and the disciples. It is a scene that occurs outside of Galilee ... Jesus' disciples, the apostles, they hoped not to be recognized in Tyre and Sidon, but it was not, and came to him a Canaanite woman. And the woman scream ... "Pity me, Lord, Son of David! My daughter is cruelly tormented by a demon! "It's a of great suffering. One person, a poor girl who asks for mercy from Jesus. After Jesus' behavior is "outrageous" ... He does not govern, nor even a word. Then the disciples came to Jesus begging: "Listen!". Here the disciples are merciful and Jesus is the hard ... "Listen!".

I discepoli implorano Gesù dicendo: "Vedi come grida dietro ci!". Ci dà nuisance, grida che questa donna! Ecco the mercy of the apostles! How often, dear brothers and sisters, our mercy is the way to get rid of a person! The behavior of Jesus seems pitiful and disgraceful. In short, I see this scene as a call for us priests, but also for all of us. A mother who allows the child to turn on the television to be at peace ... Who among us does not know this mercy? "Shut up! Watch TV! "

How often, dear brothers and sisters, our compassion is how to get rid of a person. The behavior of Jesus seems merciless and shocking. But I see this scene as a call for us priests, but also for everyone. A mother who allows the child to turn on the television to be at peace ... Who of us did not know this mercy? "Shut up! Watch TV! "

Seeding Voglia Gesù che dire: "Questi pagani I do not care, it is not my business! I came for my people. " Some will say: "What jew." Seems like a nationalist, right? "I am for the Jews, not for others." Again, this seems outrageous! Even if she pleads for mercy, Jesus seems to say: "This is not my problem." "Then the woman came and bowed before him saying," Lord, help me. " The woman did not let it go. Prostrate at his feet so that it can be considered intrusive.

Veamos in Jesus. Jesús responde a los Apostoles: "He sido enviado only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. " Jesus seems to say: "These heathens do not interest me, not my problem" I have come to the people. " Someone will say: "What Hebrew!". Nationalism seems, is not it? ... Also this seems outrageous. Then she begged for mercy, Jesus seems to say: "This is not my problem." "Then this woman came and knelt before him saying: Lord, help me." The woman does not stop. Prostrate at his feet so it can be considered inconvenient.

Allora the risposta di Gesù diviene even more shocking: "It is good to take the children's bread and cast it to dogs ...." If you say, I do not know: "These dogs Africans, Serbs, Muslims, etc., could be tried. It is a scandalous behavior! Call to the Gentiles "dogs". Dogs of pagans. "Our children are our, the Jews, the others ...." It is the mercy of Jesus ... "The woman replied: " Kirya Nai! Yes, Lord. " I am deeply moved by this woman's reply, because it expresses his awareness that he has no entitlement of Jesus . (The My note: remember the phrase of the week 12: "Kindness consists in loving people more than it does not deserve." ) calls him Lord. But he adds: "But even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their masters' table." Then Jesus appears as flooded with joy, because he found such faith in this woman. "O woman, great is your faith."

the respuesta de Jesús entonces es todavía más Escándalo: "No está bien tomar el pan de los hijos para tirárselo to the dogs ... "If you say I do not know, these dogs of Africans, Serbs, Muslims, etc., you can be prosecuted. behavior is outrageous!. Call the heathen dogs "Ours are the children, the Jews, the others ...." It is the mercy of Jesus ... "The woman replied, Nai Kirya! Truth, Lord!" I am deeply moved the woman's response, because it expresses the consciousness of having no right to the help of Jesus. Called by the Lord. (My note: remember the phrase of the week 12: " The kindness consists in loving people more than they deserve") But he adds: "But the pups feed on the crumbs that fall from the table of their standards." Jesus then flooded with joy, because you have found such great faith in this woman: "Women of Great indeed is thy faith."

The FA aspettare. The fine camminare fa questo atto di fede to. Gli Apostoli wanted a quick fix. Via the problem! Nema problem! ( In Croatian it means: no problem! The Croatians are smiling. N dt). And often this is our attitude. We can not bear. We have no patience. When there is a problem immediately look to see if God will solve it. But often we behave this way because it is difficult for us. Suffer. We are uncomfortable with this problem. So we want a quick fix! But the mercy of Jesus sees the heart. He sees the heart of this woman. He sees that this woman can reach the goal of a great faith. So his mercy is very demanding. Appare severe, ma in realtà è vera mercy.

Brothers and sisters, we see then what is the mercy of Jesus. You make us walk in faith to faith, through tests of patience. The long in coming. The wait does this act of faith. The apostles wanted a quick fix. Enough of this problem! No problem! So many times this is our attitude. We do not support. We have no patience. When there is a problem immediately expect to see that God solves. But often we do this because for us it is difficult. Suffer.
